Maxis yesterday announced the appointment of Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda as its chairman.Arshad, 62, is currently also chairman of Ekuiti Nasional Bhd and a director of Sime Darby Bhd and Khazanah Nasional Bhd.
The former executive chairman and senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia, Arshad had also chaired Danamodal Nasional Bhd and served as a member of the Securities Commission; Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission; and Investment Panel of the Employees Provident Fund.
